  • And so the work continues …

    So the summer season ends for ERSA in October time, usually with the Tri Regions being the final race of the season. It’s good to get some downtime after that race to re-charge the batteries after a very hectic season. Traditionally not much happens visibly in ERSA during the Winter months because so many people go in different directions. It is however a good time to catch up on many things and prepare for the following season.

    This week it has been the Consumer Electronics Show, CES, in Las Vegas. It’s certainly a show I would love to attend one day and there is plenty of coverage on the Internet but here is a quick summary from the BBC. Interesting about what he says about small firms have always believed small is better and also the marketing Apple managed for free.

  • Be more productive

    Always interesting reading articles about how to be more productive. Came across this one earlier, 7 Things Highly Productive Things People Do. Most are straight forward and make sense but the one which is actually a challenge is the checking of emails. I used to check them about four times a day but nowadays with in the type of environment I work in that is proving very challenging! Definitely something to get back into though.

  • 2012 what will that bring?

    Another very busy year ahead for 2012 both on the work front, technology and at home mainly on the skiing front (and boy is that going to be challenging this year). But here more interested in focusing on the technology front.

    Last week I wrote about looking back and how much things have changed over the past decade and it is clear the pace of change will not change over the next decade, in some ways I am sure it will accelerate. In some ways I also think that the growth will not be quite so major.
